1979 saw the first ABBA 12" singles released in Europe. In France Voulez-Vous B/W Does Your Mother Know was released in red, green and blue vinyl. It is interesting to note that there are two different issues of the French green and blue 12-inch singles. The first versions have the Voulez-Vous run time as 6'10 on the label when in fact the version is the normal album edit. This edition can be easily recognized by the silver 33 printed in the middle of the label. Later editions (without the silver 33 on the label) showed the correct 5'11 run time. The remix of Voulez-Vous was not only released in the US but was also released as a 12-inch red vinyl promo in France. Voulez-Vous was issued as a blue, 12-inch promo in Sweden, a marbled vinyl in Colombia and was re-leased in 1992 as a regular single and a four track twelve inch in the UK.
