Advanced orders reached record levels of 160,000 copies on the first day in the UK. Super Trouper provided ABBA with their ninth and final number one single in the UK. The single was also well received in the rest of Europe, topping the charts in Ireland, Holland, West Germany, Denmark and Belgium. In Austria, Switzerland and Mexico, Super Trouper reached number 3, number 4 in France, 5 in Finland and even made it into the top twenty in Zimbabwe. Although the same sleeve was generally used on the original release the world over there are still one or two interesting variations as you will see below.
